Edielson Miranda was born the 1st of November 1969 on the island of Itaparica. After some years he moved to Salvador and was initiated into the world of Capoeira Angola in 1979 at the academy of Capoeira Angola Primeiro de Maio with Mestre Virgilio.
Between the years of 1993 and 1996 for a number of motives participated in the work of Mestre Um Por Um, Capoeira Angola group Chapeu de Couro. In 1997 returned to Mestre Virgilio and in the same year received the title of Contra-Mestre and two years later, for already having started work since 1994, arose the moment to found the school Capoeira Angola Mato Rasteiro ECAMAR. On the 22nd of July 2002 received the title of Master of Capoeira Angola by Mestre Virgilio.
